Welcome to The Front 9

Our History

The Final Season at The Front 9

After seven years, we have made the difficult decision to bring golf at The Front 9 to a close.

When we purchased the course, it had been closed for more than a year and required a significant investment of time, money and hard work just to bring it back into playable condition. Shortly after reopening came the challenges of the COVID era, followed by years of rising operating costs and the ongoing expense of maintaining a golf course.

This decision was not made because we gave up. It was made after seven years of firsthand experience operating the course and carefully considering its financial future. Ultimately, the numbers simply no longer supported continuing golf operations.

While closing the course is the right business decision, that doesn't make it an easy one. Over the years, we've watched countless rounds of golf, leagues, outings and friendships take place here. We've gotten to know our members and golfers personally, and we're grateful to everyone who chose to spend their time with us.

The golf course is closing, but The Front 9 is not.

As one chapter ends, we're looking forward to the next. Our restaurant, bar and event space will continue to serve the community, and we're excited about the opportunities ahead for our property and our business.

Small businesses continue because people choose to support them — by walking through the doors, dining with us, celebrating life's special moments here, recommending us to others and coming back again.

To everyone who supported our golf course over these seven years, thank you for being part of its story. And to everyone who continues to choose The Front 9, thank you for helping us write the next one.

Thank you for seven years of golf, memories and support.

Sincerely,
Brian & Tracie Eakin

About The Front 9

Our Story

We proudly took ownership of the golf course (formerly known as Nature Trails) in 2018 after it sat vacant for almost 2 years. We purchased the Clubhouse and Front 9 at an auction in 2018 and opened our doors in July of 2019 as The Front Nine. Every year brings on new challenges as we work hard to bring the golf course and greens back up to par. It has taken some time to do so, due to the course being closed for several years but we are dedicated to making this the best 9 holes of golf you can buy!
